Strawberries

Posted by
Carol (Leamington, Canada) on 6 July 2012 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

My strawberry hanging baskets (17) are producing fruit now... sweet as candy from the vine. I picked a full medium sized bowl this morning. That is the good news, the bad news is.... I cannot eat them, I am allergic! :(

Such a wonderful planting and you can not eat them, what a pity ;-(( Beautiful plants with great lighting ...
Fabulous shot !!!

6 Jul 2012 5:49pm

@Baldwin VW: Watching others enjoy them is fine with me, I like picking them though, it's relaxing and since they are high off the ground in baskets it makes it much easier to pluck them from the vine. Thank you Baldwin, I'm glad you enjoyed!

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Looks like it will be a bumper crop also! Wish I could be there to lend you a hand eating them Carol! ;-)
