Hi Carol. The paw prints are cute with the heart. They go well together. I am in Leamington right now with my dogs. We visited Point Pelee NP today. Hotter than what was forecast earlier in the week, but the marsh was so peaceful this morning.

@Julie L. Brown: What a surprise... are you staying with friends? How long will you be here in Leamington? You should come by for a visit... it would be nice to meet. Yes, the weather has been too hot. I didn't go to Pelee too often this summer because of the heat.... waiting for cooler temps. The marsh is peaceful most times, there never seems to be a lot of people and the same on the beaches. Hope you were able to get some photos this time around. :)

I so love these images in the sand ... is this one you did yourself, or did you happen upon it?

1 Sep 2012 10:00pm

@Judy aka L@dybug: Yes, that's my heart. :) You can see Bismark's little footy prints as he sprints down the beach.... his favorite place! Thank you, I am so glad you like.

Hi Carol. I stayed a couple of nights at a motel in town. The weather was too hot and humid for my dogs, and after trying to visit Hillman Marsh this morning in the rain with the mosquitoes and biting flies, I decided to go home. Birding was slow, I guess it is still a few weeks too early for the fall migration.

2 Sep 2012 11:47pm

@Julie L. Brown: That's a long drive Julie.... glad you all made it home safe n' sound! That is unfortunate about this morning, the weather just does not want to cooperate at all! If you're coming this way again sometime let me know in advance and I'll email you my address. Take care.

Julie L. Brown from Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

Thanks, Carol. It would be nice to meet next time I make it up there. I did enjoy visiting the marsh at Point Pelee twice on Saturday, so the trip wasn't a total bust.
